This event is a once in a lifetime opportunity to study with real curanderos and curanderas from the Amazon rainforest. These powerful healers, sometimes referred to as shamans, will each be giving hands-on workshops on how to cook ayahuasca, identifying, preparing, and using other medicinal plants, making healing tools that are used to assist the curanderos in healing ceremonies, the sacred songs called icaros, the use of tobacco in healing, and much more. It is an event that you will remember for the rest of your life, and it is an honor to have been chosen to organize it.
The curanderos are such amazing people, and to be in their presence in such a casual and comfortable way renews our beliefs that deep down inside, we are healers too. Participants will follow a strict diet and will be given the opportunity to attend three ayahuasca ceremonies during the seminar.

Still learning how to use this site as well. The Ayahuasca Initiation Course begins on sunday, and I thought I would chronicle the course as best as I can for the next six weeks. I will, however, be in the jungle for most of that time, but will put up posts seven or eight times over the six weeks. I hope it is a powerful course. I think it will be.
